AEPF 13: Submit Your Proposal

From 17th until 24th May 2021, the Asia Europe People’s Forum (AEPF) will hold its 13th biennial People’s Forum  under the title “Asia Europe Peope’s Forum for a Just, Peaceful and Sustainable World”.

AEPF13 will tackle strategies on six major themes or People’s Visions, which represent AEPF’s hopes for citizens of Europe and Asia.  These are:

  • Climate Justice and Just Transitions
  • Food Sovereignty and Resources Justice
  • Trade Justice and Corporate Accountability
  • Social Justice and Social Protection
  • Peace and Security
  • Participatory Democracy, Human Rights and Migrants Rights

This is a call to social movements, frontline communities, campaigning networks, progressive NGOs, academics and parliamentarians across Asia and Europe to come and join us and be part of an event that is open, dynamic and inclusive and focuses on meaningful and practical discussions for change.

AEPF13 will be an exciting series of interlinked dialogues, workshops, actions, policy debates and open spaces. You can be part of this in many ways: from actively participating in the discussions and building of People’s Visions to co-organising an event.

We will have 3 main forums for discussion at AEPF13

  1. Plenary sessions (organized by the AEPF International Organising Committee and Clusters)
  2. Cluster activities (organized by AEPF clusters)
  3. Open Spaces (co-organized by organisations in Europe and Asia that want to actively contribute to the AEPF13 programme)

We are inviting the potential co-organisers of Open Spaces to develop proposals for workshops.
The deadline for submitting proposals is April, 15.
